Clearwater Beach, Fl - day 2

Day 2 started early. All kids woke up around 8 am and were ready to go to the beach. Weather was still not so good. Not raining, but very cloudy and windy. Eventually it did rain.
In the morning the beach was all empty, just some occasional runners would pass by.
Waves were huge and we couldn't really swim, but kids still had fun jumping over them.

Such a small things can make kids very happy. They didn't care that is was cloudy and getting ready to rain, they just wanted to play. Just last the day before we had to run from the beach because of the rain. But by the time we got to our complex rain almost stopped and we had some time to enjoy the pool area. This area was very nice, clean and pretty much empty. I guess people were scared of the rain and sat inside. Hot tub was a nice addition to the pool.

After the pool we had lunch and waited a bit for the sky to clear up, so we can go back to the beach. We got lucky and didn't have to wait long. After big rain beach looked so pretty., a lot of colorful seashells, crabs running around and people started to show up too.

Jeremy didn't care much for the beach :)

Couple hours before dinner we decided to spend in town. Not to far from us was the John's Pass Boardwalk. Street full of tiny restaurants and bars, small souvenir stores and a different kinds of boats offering tours. Nice area to walk around. We only walked on the main street, but there are few more to explore if you are interested. But most of the restaurant are not a stroller friendly. And not only because there is no ramp, there is just simply no room to put it anywhere or even park it next to the place. So that was a negative part about this place. Usually we have a tradition, on any beach trip we go to any boardwalk restaurant to eat fresh local seafood and we couldn't do it here.
