Charleston, SC - hotel and drive

Last weekend of August we decided to spend in Charleston, SC. It was also our anniversary weekend. Charleston is only a little over 4 hours drive from us, which was a plus. We left early in the morning, stopped only once to eat breakfast and feed Jeremy. But next time we probably will eat at home and then just drive, would be much easier.

Now about our hotel - Embassy Suits North Charleston. We will definitely be staying here again. No need to look for anything else. I am a Hilton Honers member so we had some perks here, but even with out it this is a great hotel.
We booked 7th floor room, which is their premium floor. You get unlimited access to drinks and snacks machines 24 hours per day and free internet, which we would be getting on any floor as a members. Snacks and drinks machines was awesome - water, coke, sprite, different kind chips, cookies, candy bars etc. Every time we walked by it, we got something. Even if we weren't hungry :) Worked really well and we didn't have to get any snacks for the drive home.
We had a suit - 2 double beds in one room and queen sleeper sofa in the other.

Our snacks by the time we had to check out after 2 days . Considering it was 6 of us :)

This hotel includes 2 meals. Every day from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm they have snacks and refreshments. Fruits, veggies, dips, cheese, crackers and full open bar - all for free. Drinks selection was great, we each had 2 different drinks and liked it a lot. Sangria was perfect!

And this is breakfast. Cook to order omelets with a lot of stuff you can add to it, fruits, cereal, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles ets. Everything you can find on the menu at something like Ihope.

Hotel is very clean. There is a police officer on the parking lot, you have to show your reservation or room key to enter, very secure.
Nice pool and hot tub. We spent about 2 hours there, but I didn't take any pictures.
